A transport operator with a fleet of new vehicles funded by their bank had an opportunity to purchase two used trailers suitable for refurbishment at a cost substantially lower than new.
The bank would not fund the purchase as the trailers were outside its age criteria. Auckland Finance recognised the value of the refurbishment and funded the purchase and the repair work.
